::BIOGRAPHY::
On a rainy day in April, Amanda Inman aka "Mandy B." was born in a downtown Orlando, FL hospital with a rare but severe disease "Spinal meningitis" which taught her the most important lesson early in life: Survival.
Born to into a world full of drug addiction, abuse, and poverty, this was Mandys reality. Regardless of her situations, Mandy has always relied on God and music to be there for her when in dispair. Mandy began writing at the age of 6 while living off of Rio Grande about the pain and distress she felt against where life had placed her. She did always know that with all of the tests life may have put her through, one day she'd become something great and give back to those who feel her pain.
Moving out of her mothers home at the age of 13, Mandy began adapting to a different way of life and seeing the world in a new perspective knowing that opportunity was all around. After struggling to maintain stability, Mandy graduated Colonial High School against the odds and with that accomplishment came the knowledge that she and anyone can make it out of his/her situation.
In the Fall of 2002 Mandy Enrolled herself in Nursing School and though she learned that was not her path, she realized that she had this desire to help others in a different way, by telling her story and sharing her writing. |
