I have not yet had any training to do with modelling. Unless you count the portfolio I got done. I learnt a lot from getting my portfolio done and realised that modelling is not all about looks, its about your personality and how you are as a person aswell.
About Portfolio:
I travelled to London from Cheshire to get a professional portfolio done. Although I was a little bit shy at first, as I did not know anyone, I soon become myself around the people and livened up. I got my hair and make-up done and choose from a selection of outfits. I got told what poses to do and I felt very comfortable in front of the camera and did not mind other people being in the room.
Experience Details:
Aswell as getting a portfolio done for me, I was also entered into Miss Halton Model Girl 2008 a couple of months ago. I then become a finalist and had to model evening wear up and down the catwalk with quite a large audience. I then had to answer questions on stage as detailed as I possibly could to make myself sound interesting. Unfortunatley, I did not come anywhere in the competition due to lack of experience on the catwalk, but I have learned from the mistakes I made and it was a very good experience for me.
Awards:
I was awarded with a half price portfilio, due to being one of the finalists in Miss Halton Model Girl 2008.
